Without further adu, we bring you the first edition of the BUI Breathalyser. A ranking of SEC teams based purely on performance. No potential or talent considerations are given. This is just a simple ranking based upon performance to date. The quality of opponent is only taken into consideration to break "ties". When everybody else is 1-0 and you are 0-1, you fall to the bottom.
If Alabama and Florida were to play tomorrow, I have no idea who would win. But I value Alabama's win over VaTech far more than I do Florida's dismantling of Charleston Southern. Perhaps Washington will turn out to be a much improved team, but for now I have to assume LSU played down, way down, to an inferior opponent.
Just a hunch, but I am guessing Mark Richt is not Damon's biggest fan.
