Owens makes 3rd team All-SEC

There isn’t much going on prior to media days with the exception of the release of the preseason 2009 All SEC team. Hale has the story here.

The most notable thing to me about the selections is Jeff Owens landing on the third team. Third team selection is pretty darn good considering what Owens went through last year. I expect when the post season list is compiled Owens will land higher than third team.

Let’s hope news remains slow prior to practice starting.
